Green Nape Lorikeets
Green-naped Lory T. h. haematodus 11" (26cm)
This is the most common of the "Rainbow" lories. Mostly blue head. Lower throat and breast
are bright red with a heavy barring of purplish-black. Abdomen is green. They can be good pets, but some individuals become nippy, especially at sexual maturity. Not terribly noisy and can speak fairly well. Priced about the same as the Red Lory.
